2020-2021 SoCal Cyber Cup Challenge

The SoCal Cyber Cup invites all Middle, High School, and Community College students in the following counties to participate in this three-phased cyber challenge series.

  • Imperial
  • Orange
  • Riverside
  • San Bernardino
  • San Diego

Team Mentors: Provide technical support to a team. Teams are not required to have a mentor, and coaches may act in the combined role of a coach and mentor.

Topic Mentor: Topic mentors provide training an expertise on a specific topic area listed below: Networking | Operating Systems | Incident Response | Cryptography | Programming | Other

Mentor Stipend Up to 100  Mentors may be eligible to receive a $250 stipends if they meet all of the requirements

Key Dates

March 15, 2021 – Registration closes
January 8,2021 – 20 hours of Mentor and Coach Orientation & Training See online lessons
February 15 to May 16, 2021 – Practice Rounds / Practice gym open.
9am April 22 to 9pm on April 24, 2021 – Qualification Round (sign up for 6 hours windows)
May 22, 2021 – Finals round will be held virtually, top 8 teams from each division.
